Science
We have been learning about Newton's Laws of Motion. Today we worked with Room 6 to find ways to work with gravity, friction and air resistance. Our goal was to drop an egg from height and for the egg to remain whole.

Science - Friction
We used Lego cars to test our ideas. We changed the car tyres to find out if different tyres created different amounts of friction.

Food Technology
The year 8 class developed savory scone recipes this week, selecting their own raising agents and savory fillings.
Oxford Technology
The year 8 class are researching and designing bird houses in preparation for next week when they begin the building part of the process.
