Autobiographies

This term we have focussed on the skills required to write an autobiography. We have now created our own. You are very welcome to come in and learn more about who we are and the experiences that make us unique.

Leadership Day

We enjoyed a fantastic day with the instructors from Horizons Unlimited learning about leadership skills.

New Zealand Promotional Videos

This week we have been creating videos to promote places in New Zealand.  In groups we selected towns throughout the country and then researched to find out what was unique to each place. Our final steps were to write a script and create a video using green screen technology.  We hope to complete this next week. In the process we have learnt a lot about our country.

STEM Challenge

Today we undertook a STEM challenge. We were given 20 pieces of dry spaghetti, a metre of string, a metre of tape and one marshmallow. Our challenge was to build the tallest structure that we could and place the marshmallow on top. We only had 18 minutes to complete our structure.  It was important that we communicated and worked together. Take a look at what we achieved.......
